About Counties Manukau Offoad Racing Club

The Counties Manukau Offroad Racing Club was formed in 1986 by a small group of individuals interested in the sport of racing cars offroad.
There were two other clubs in the Auckland region at the time, Auckland Buggy Club who ran most of their races in the bombing range near Murawai and Western Districts Offroad Racing Club that ran in the forests of Woodhill and Maramarua. MCORC ran races on rolling farm land anywhere from central Manukau City to as far south as Huntly.

Originally known as the Manukau City Offroad Racing Club, the club was reconstituted in 2002 as the Counties Manukau Offroad Racing Club (CMORC) to reflect the change in demographics.

Now some 24 years later we still run all our race meetings in the Manukau and Counties regions and to the highest possible standards.

The club is run by members on a voluntary basis with a common goal of enjoying ourselves while competing in the sport we love.

CMORC represents offroad racing in the Counties Manukau region of Auckland, New Zealand.
Our goal is to foster the promotion and growth of our sport. We welcome newcomers to the sport, and will answer any query you have on offroading in general.
